I am an experienced educator who is dedicated to guiding students to succeed while inspiring an insatiable passion for learning! As a Visionary Leader, Bridge Builder and Educator, I have over twenty years of experience instructing and helping learners of all ages. Not only does my background include competency in a variety of subject areas; it also includes leadership roles, several practicum experiences, professional development workshops and a host of other pertinent educational proficiencies.

Some of my important attributes include being an enthusiastic, creative, and passionate educator, mentor and tutor who believes that all children can learn and thrive in a learning environment that is stimulating, comforting and appropriate to their unique talents and abilities.

As an instructional leader, I use a balanced blend of motivational and targeted instruction and methodologies to enhance curricula and focus on the three R's: rigor, relevancy and relationships. I also use art integrated and differentiated lesson plans. Lesson activities will bring together the material that needs to be learned with relevant real world connections.

After connections are made, meaningful learning will occur and the students will not only have a better understanding of material but also have a better understanding of their learning style, accomplishing academic and personal goals. I strive to utilize a visionary approach with consistency to help students past the threshold of not knowing to knowing and developing their character to their fullest extent.
