Certified Tutor

For Forty years, all I have ever wanted to do is help young men and women grow intellectually and achieve at the highest level. I taught AP Biology for over a decade, as well as Advanced Biology, a class I constructed to get Biochemistry and Biotechnology into the Secondary environment. Working together with a La Jolla biotech company called Stratagene, I wrote and published several Biotech labs- which were sold internationally through Wards Biology Corporation. My High School was the Beta testing site, and we received thousands of dollars of equipment as well as grants from the County of San Diego Office of Education.
After retiring, I spent eight years teaching Chemistry, Biology and Marine Biology at Liahona Academy in Hurricane and my home town of Virgin, Utah. That came to a halt during the Covid pandemic. To continue my love of teaching, I now have the opportunity of working for Varsity Tutors.
