Certified Tutor

My passion for helping students stems from my experience working with preschoolers to school-age students at a daycare and after school facility. I have firsthand experience understanding the importance of having a mentor to help guide an individual through their learning process. Currently, I am working toward a bachelor's degree with the ultimate goal of going on to obtain a masters in psychology. I am available to tutor reading, English and elementary school reading and am passionate about helping students equally in all areas. My tutoring style differs from client to client. I know it is essential to learn about the client's learning style so that I can set up a plan to help them achieve their goals in the best way possible. I will always make sure to check in and see if my approach is working for them. I believe in incorporating real situations so I can prepare clients for the real world. Outside of academia, I enjoy volunteering my time as a pediatric cancer advocate, working to make blankets for my nonprofit, modeling, acting and competing in pageants.
