How I Teach & My Approach:

After 5 years and 500+ hours of tutoring, I've learned that every student is unique. That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all teaching. When we first meet, I'll spend time getting to know you how you learn best, what trips you up, and what your goals are. From there, I build our sessions around YOU.

My background (Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences, Master's in Clinical Research) means I've been in your shoes. I remember struggling with organic chemistry mechanisms and statistical analyses. Now I use those experiences to break down tough concepts in ways that actually make sense. We'll start each session checking in on last week's material (5-10 mins). Any confusion? Let's clear it up before moving forward. Then I'll introduce new concepts using whatever clicks for youdrawings, real-life examples, even funny analogies (15-20 mins). My personal favorite? Explaining enzyme kinetics using a crowded coffee shop!

Next comes the fun partwe tackle problems together (20-25 mins). I'll guide you at first, then gradually step back as you get more comfortable. Before wrapping up, you'll try some problems solo while I'm there for backup (10-15 mins). We'll end by making sure you're solid on everything and I'll give you practice problems that actually help (not busy work).
