Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Advanced Radiologic Sciences, and my Master of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences. I have worked in the medical field for over twenty years in various capacities (radiologic technologist, Interventional radiology technologist, Radiology Practitioner Assistant, including supervisory/management roles). I have taught Radiology Physics (lab included), Radiologic Anatomy and Positioning (lab included) and was on site clinical instructor for a community college. I have also taught Principal's of Health Science and Medical Terminology at a local high school (9th and 10th grade). I am very passionate about serving others. I consider it an honor and a privilege to care for the sick. It is also a great honor to teach people the skills they need to be successful and excited about their future career! I believe that everyone has their own style of learning - what works for some may not for others. I firmly believe in the importance of education to provide an improved quality of life. It's important to identify what type of learner the student is, identify trouble spots and proceed from there, hopefully making learning fun.
