Hello! My name is Juliann and I am excited to meet you.
I have been an elementary teacher for 13 years and have been working with kids for over twenty years. I have taught all elementary levels kindergarten through 6th grade I have a teaching license and a BA in elementary education K-6th grade with a minor in kindergarten-3rd grade. I have worked with neurodivergent, neurotypical, and gifted students, as well as ENL learners online and in person . I also have experience working with teens. I have worked at the local AZA accrediated zoo for 8 years with campers ages 5-14, school groups, and families.
I am a true pet person with many pets, a huge Disney fan, and a conservationist, which drives my lessons. I love working with kids to help them grow and become better people.
I plan to be offering classes in drawing, painting, animal science/conservation, and maybe even flute, which I have been playing since I was 12 years old.
