Certified Tutor

As a Political Science Major at Villanova University, I was constantly taking writing-intensive courses. I loved the process of essay writing, from evaluating the prompt to making sure no comma was out of place in the final draft. This was not always the case, however. Only in my senior year of high school did I finally begin to get the "big picture" of writing essays. My AP Literature class catalyzed my shift from using big words and disorganized fluff to focusing on crafting a whole, coherent work. Having crossed this threshold, I knew I could help my peers achieve the same. I was happy to help whenever my fellow students needed me, and I enjoyed guiding them through brainstorming, outlining, revising, and proofreading. I love helping people turn their ideas into unified, cohesive pieces of writing, and this motivated me to become a tutor. I tutor many different subjects related to writing: Outlining, Editing, College Application Essays, English Essays, and Research Papers.

I also hope to go to law school in the next year. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, riding my motorcycle, and snowboarding.
