Certified Tutor

I am a Graduate of St. John's university, where I received my Bachelors of Science in Business Management. Since my graduation I have worked in Advertising and abroad in Rome, Italy, teaching English as a second language to both young children (ages 7-12) and adults. In my lessons, the focused often varied from conversational language skills, to test prep for work abroad, and corporate/ business language skills. From my experience, I have developed an intricate knowledge of the English language not only for practical speaking purposes and grammatical structure but also for persuasive writing; a skill largely utilized for college essays and internships, but also for storytelling. I strongly believe in making learning a fun and engaging process, as well as using relevant pop culture and world events to encourage critical thinking, expanding current vocabulary levels and more. Outside of my passion for education, I love reading fantasy novels, practicing Muay Thai, and learning to sew.
