His career began as an accounting clerk and grew to Supervisor of Accounts Payable , Manager of Billings and Renewals, and Vice President of Financial Systems; of which he was instrumental in a global accounting conversion. His entrepreneurial side emerged when he became a partner and a Value Added Re-seller of an International Accounting Software firm; of which, he had offices in London, Dublin, and New York. He engaged sales and consulting services to the Fortune 500 and consistently traveled the globe for his clients. Wanting change, Yaz decided to venture into Manhattan real estate. Within 2 years he qualified and obtained his NYS Real Estate Brokers license. His real estate career is inclusive of boutique residential, mid size full service, and large commercial firms. He successfully grew and developed a small firm in the Village from 5 agents to over 20 agents covering residential and commercial real estate. He ventured out on his own as a successful independent broker. He teaches real estate, in NYC, and is well respected for his experience, knowledge, teaching/ training style, and mentoring.
