I am a biomedical sciences major at Troy University. I love science and math; my main passion in all of life is neuroscience. For this, I want to go to medical school for neurophysiology and graduate school for a Ph.D. in neuroscience. (Yes, the nervous system is my comfort zone.) Biological sciences are literally a hobby to me and not a burden. That's why I love studying and teaching so much!
I tutored in math in high school and am looking to tutor more in both math and biology in college. So far my favorite classes in college are Principles of Cellular Biology and Organismal Biology. I'm sure Genetics will top that list next semester!
Outside of school, I'm an outdoors person. Sitting by a tree reading a sci-fi novel - I could do that for hours.

Undergraduate Degree: Troy University - Bachelor of Science, Biomedical Sciences
I currently do research with three professors as an undergrad in university - one in ecology, one in genetics and cancer studies, and one in neuropsychology. Research and helping students is what I want to dedicate my life to. I love to hike, swim, and explore nature. I greatly enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, and some comedy. I literally won't watch a movie or show if it's an action film. Give me The Host, The Big Bang Theory, or Game of Thrones. I love being with friends, but I strongly believe a few true loyal friends is better than a big circle of friends who aren't so close. Big groups definitely interest me, though. On the other hand, I also love time for myself. I can be introverted every now and then, and guess what I'm usually doing. Studying biology!
