I am a UArizona graduate with a BA in English and a Master's in Teaching and Teacher Education. I've worked with UA's Project SOAR as a mentor, and as an English teacher at Flowing Wells High School, where I also advised the National Honor Society. Communication, in my opinion, is the most important skill to develop in life, and I love getting to put it into practice each day as I teach it! I am passionate about encouraging discussion and introspection through texts that are important to our real, lived experiences.

I love reading, especially mysteries (both fictional and investigative) as well as stories from the silver age of comics. Exploring nature with my fiancee and our dog, Blueberry, is one of the things that makes me happiest. When I'm not doing either of those things, I'm probably tinkering with some old electronics.
