Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Teaching and Learning. Through my internships, I have worked actively with middle and high school students. The subjects I tutor are Middle and High School English, as well as Creative Writing, Literature, and Adult Literacy. I personally love tutoring in literature because I love the idea of looking at books through a different perspective. I love learning a lot of new topics in the subject of English, and I want to show my students that it isn't a boring class and that they can have fun learning in it too. I believe learning is best done when you enjoy it, and I will only teach topics that my students actually want to learn about. It is also more enjoyable when I also learn something new alongside my students. That way, we call all have fun while learning together. Since I am also an author, writing and reading have always been my main interests outside of the classroom.
