Certified Tutor

I attended the University of South Dakota and majored in political science and history. I tutor in writing, English, and history classes. My main goal is to help students become passionate about learning. My goal in tutoring is to help develop engaged human beings, critical thinkers, and students that ask deeper questions. In history classes, my main philosophy centers around helping students see the relevance in history by connecting the issues of the past to those of the present. In writing, my philosophy centers around not only helping with grammar and english, but enabling the students to find their own voice and purpose for writing. I want to make them care about the world, about other people, about whatever class they need help in, and about the consumption of knowledge.
