Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of the University of South Florida. I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and earned a minor in Public Health. Since graduation, I have worked at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, teaching and interacting with science through demonstrations and experiments. I have also become a classroom teacher, first in 4th grade and then in middle school as a science and reading teacher. My favorite subject to learn and to tutor is science. Science is involved in all facets of life, teaching us how to question and to be curious. I strongly believe that education is a key to a wholesome, well-rounded life. We learn not just to acquire a career, but to gain knowledge and develop our own character through that learning. I believe that any skill learned, whether or not it is applied to a future career, is vital to crafting an individual as a whole. A motto I have come to live by and impart to my students is "Nothing worth doing is always easy". We cannot know success without hard work, and it is worth so much more when we learn to persevere and be diligent.

I enjoy yoga, playing music, listening to music, watching animated movies, walks, and being out in nature. I also love to travel, and would love to do so more often.
