HELLO! My name is Amanda; I just graduated with a Masters in Education. Currently, I am a doctoral student at Walden University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education at Southern University A&M College with a focus on psychology and business. Since graduation, I have received my teaching certification; published my first book "Full Disclosure" ; and tutored private clients from P-20. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Math, Reading, and History. I love helping students fill in the educational gaps in their areas of opportunity. I am a firm proponent of education being the foundation of life, especially for students of color and low socioeconomic backgrounds. In my spare time, I am a singer, gardener, designer both in clothing and crafts, and a tennis coach.

I am a singer and a true lover of music. I am a former collegiate SWAC tennis champion and started a tennis academy to give back to aspiring tennis players. Gardening is one of my favorite hobbies and have a least 20 different plants in my care. I love to sew and craft with my sewing and Cricut machine.
