Certified Tutor

I am a research scientist working in the US. I have studied in three different countries where I was able to manage to rapidly adapt to different cultures. I am very passionate about science. My aim is to translate some of my knowledge into easy to follow classes and inspire the next generation of scientists.

In the past, I had the pleasure to work as an online teaching fellow at CellBio-London Training academy were I taught subjects in the field of toxicology, molecular biology, biochemistry and cancer biology to college students. Additionally, I've also volunteered every Saturday at the Carnegie center in Lexington (KY) as a tutor helping high school students with their biology and chemistry homework. Both activities ignited my passion for teaching science, therefore I would love to be your next tutor!

I have a Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences by the Universidade Federal do Ceara (2014), a Ph.D. at Toxicology and Cancer Biology by the University of Kentucky (2019), and post-doctoral training at Markey Cancer Center (2020).
