Amy: Arlington tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a senior at Columbia University in the City of New York, studying a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus in Vision and Graphics, and a minor in Psychology.
I have been a private tutor for 4 years, primarily helping students excel in Mathematics. I have taught students of all ages in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry/Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I also have immense experience with Standardized Tests, as I have done well in them myself and have helped students significantly improve their scores for the ACT and SAT.
In my lessons, I find it most productive to identify a student's fundamental misunderstanding in a topic or concept, and continually practice to master full knowledge of the concept on new and different practice problems. I look forward to working with you!
