Certified Tutor
I have always had a passion for helping people gain new skills. I believe that the more capable we all are as individuals, the more capable we become as a community.
My background is in renewable energy, and sustainable development, which is why I currently hold a Bachelors in Materials Science from the University of Texas at El Paso.
I have a wide range of passions, from linguistics to math and physics, but I really come alive when harnessing technology to solve problems. I love to teach coding, such as when I volunteered at my wife's library to bring her students the Hour of Code, using Code.org's Minecraft exercises, or as a content creator for Learning Environments, where students from the local elementary school district came to study robotics and computer science on our university campus.

In my free time, I like to listen to my daughter talk about her toys' adventures, or just sit down with my wife and watch a comedy series while snacking on something salty. Sometimes we like to get together for a play-date with friends or family, and on other days, we enjoy short walks in the twilight hours.
