I am currently working towards my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Religion and honors distinction at Birmingham-Southern College. I am so passionate about helping others succeed and have been tutoring for most of my college career. I have received so much support and guidance from mentors, professors, and tutors during my time in school and I am excited to have the opportunity to do the same for others. When it comes to learning a new subject or tackling a challenging problem, I believe it is important to take things slow so that you gain a conceptual understanding of the topic rather than just memorize processes or formulas. I am dedicated to help students discover what makes the material "click" for them so that they can continue to be successful in their classes moving forwards.

I love to cook! When I am not studying, I love to take a break to try a new recipe. I am even starting a garden this summer to spice up some of my recipes! I also enjoy exercising and running! When I have spare time, I love to pick up a good book and sit outside in the sunshine :)
