Certified Tutor

I am an experienced music educator, performer, producer, arranger, and recording artist. I enjoy teaching and encouraging others to excel in their gifts. I began my teaching career at age twelve when a local country rock band brought me in to teach vocal harmonies. Then at age 17 I conducted my first choir. In my musical career I have performed overseas, for the president, backed and opened for many national acts including James Taylor, Kansas, Amy Grant, Halle Berry etc. I also was featured with the North Carolina Symphony, North Carolina Theater, North Carolina Opera Company and conducted the Peoria Pops Orchestra.

In education I taught at the college level, public and private middle school, conducted a children's choir, beginning band, initiated a school of music, designed and taught a worship music curriculum at Peoria Christian School, and published 7 music instructional books. I continue to be active in education, teaching at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I also produce music in my studio.
