Hello. My name is Peter Elish and I am a tutor. You are entering a world where it is a "win win," meaning you help others with their finances and make money doing so. These licenses are so valuable, that you have the potential to make as much money, if not more money than doctors and lawyers. You do not need a secondary degree, you just need to pass the tests.
You would want me as at tutor mainly because of my experience. My expertise is in OPTIONS and MARGIN.

I started a broker-dealer from scratch, was a manager of other reps, and was a producer. I also was the prime lead instructor for a Series 7 school years ago before publishing training manuals that became the big business we see today. My peers, other broker-dealers, had enough confidence in me to elect me to two different FINRA offices. One was regional office and the other a national position. I sat in on the meetings when FINRA changed the Series 7 test from a single 6 hour exam to the present two exams being the SIE and the Series 7 top off. I passed the Series 3 exam, the National Commodities Futures Exam.

If you want to obtain the SIE license, you probably are in one of these categories.
You may be doing for the fun of it, looking to get a better understanding of investments, and exploring it as a career.
You possibly are in college and wanting an internship at an investment firm.
You are hired in the business and need to pass the SIE and the other FINRA exams thereafter.
