In May of 2019, I received my degree in Political Science with a minor in Biology from San Diego State University. Throughout college, I worked as a writing tutor where I guided undergraduate and graduate students through their assignments in hopes of bettering their writing skills. I tutor various kinds of writing, reading, basic biology, and college-level political science. My favorite subject to tutor is writing because it's my favorite hobby, so it doesn't feel like work to me! My tutoring philosophy is that everyone learns differently. Learning is subjective, and different strategies work for different people. With that being said, as I tutor, I like to make sure I adjust my teaching style to the needs of the student. Outside of academia, I enjoy creative writing, watching new movies and streaming series, and making art.
