Hi! I'm a former high school science teacher who has spent the last 2 years overseas being a stay-at-home-mom to my three boys due to my husband's military service. I'd like to start using my skills to help struggling students, while keeping the flexibility to stay home with my youngest who is not yet in pre-school. Having taught in a public school setting, I have had experience with students of all abilities and understand that each student is unique; and therefore each student may learn slightly differently than the one style of teaching that the classroom teacher primarily uses. I also understand that life circumstances play a huge role in a student's ability to learn and focus on content for 8hrs a day. I'm open to using different techniques to allow for the best possible learning experience and understanding of the material for the student and can't wait to get back to doing what I love... teaching science!
