Certified Tutor

As a business professional for 40 years and a parent, I have the ability to teach students with various disabilities. I am also a New York State Certified Teacher Assistant and familiar with the NYS Common Core in various subjects. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from St John's University (my major was Accounting), Queens, New York. As a student, I excelled in all academic subjects (especially in math and science). I believe learning should be a fun experience for students. When learning is fun, it will be interesting and will be a positive reinforcement for the student.

Working in sales and as a project manager for major corporation, I worked as a consultant to help people meet their needs. I feel that the experience I have in the corporate world will help me assist students in achieving their goals to improve their skills.

My lessons are planned, organized and activities are carried out based on the individual I will be teaching. After each session, I will discuss the student's progress and my observations with their parents.
