Certified Tutor

Hello. My name is Tapiwa, and I am a friendly, professional and highly engaging tutor who is passionate about making learning enjoyable, as well as stimulating and thought-provoking. My primary focus is to help students unlock their full potential and achieve the results they are capable of. My approach is to help my students explore their passion for a subject. Alongside helping a student develop their understanding of a text, I'm happy to work on improving the quality of your writing, and your confidence in your work. I look to provide both in-depth knowledge, as well as personal motivation and coaching in an enjoyable, and stress-free environment.
I carry a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore county, and I am currently working on my Public Accounting certification.
I have tutored students for over 12 years, ranging from preschool to eleventh grade.
Outside of tutoring, I have worked as an Applied Behavioural Analysis Therapist for children with Autism. I currently work as a Staff Accountant for a financial firm with a special focus on Accounts Payables.
I am a dedicated tutor, and patient, even when something might seem difficult.
