I am a recent graduate from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. I aim to utilize my problem-solving skills to determine methods on improving the medical field. I am highly motivated to research and engineer new medical technology such as prosthetics that will further assist society. Through my career experience, I have developed skills from various industries that make me a well-rounded student and professional. I strive to take initiative in every situation and aspire to become a great leader amongst my peers. As an organization officer, I always seek to not only meet new people, but develop relationships in which we can support and assist each other.

I strongly believe in helping the people that want to start something new or take on a new hobby, but might be too afraid to take the initial step. Sometimes all we need is assistance in taking the first step like our parents helping us learn to walk. This applies to all aspects of life whether it may be attending the career fair for the first time or just shooting a basketball for the first time. Through my stages of maturation, I have developed a strong optimistic point-of-view. This mindset drives me to easily combat obstacles and rebound from hitting "rock bottom" moments.
