I have been in the accounting field (Controller, VP of Finance) a number of years before I decided to try teaching.

I wanted to learn more so I can educate our youth, the future tomorrow generation. I went back to school and received my alternate route teaching certificate.

I taught for many years as a teachers aide, substitute teacher and finally a teacher. I taught Math for 6th,7th and 8th grades along with my 7th grade homeroom class. I accepted the challenge and am forever grateful I did.

I love watching the children's expressions when thy finally "get it". I had a classroom of 28 students. Seventh grade homeroom and taught math to 6, 7 and 8th grade math.

I managed to influence my kids and teach while gaining respect and gratitude. They maintained high grades the other school districts in the area.

They even gave me a birthday cake, balloons an all while learning!
