I am here because I want to help those who want to improve their understanding and success in mathematics. I have a passion for teaching students and have a very strong background in mathematics. Not because I was born a "math" person, but because I worked hard (and continue to work hard) at understanding the underlying concepts behind the math we are taught in K-12. I love asking the question "Why?!" as it is one thing to get the right answer and another thing to know WHY your answer makes sense. I am very detail oriented when explaining. I am honest and upfront with students when I am unsure of a question they ask and will do my best to use my resources to investigate their question if it is beyond my scope of understanding. I look forward to helping individuals on this platform! :)

Fall is my favorite season! I am a big fan of watching football on the weekends with my husband. We are fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs. I will openly admit that I am fully addicted to coffee... I must have about 5 cups a day. When I have free time I love spending time in the kitchen baking and cooking up new recipes! I also love spending time with my my goldendoodle, Gryffin. He is a bundle of energy!
