Certified Tutor
Hello! I am a recent Teach for America alum who taught 6th grade in Bridgeport, CT for 2 years. I taught history as well as guided reading and intervention math block. I also tutored 5th and 6th graders for the SBAC state test (both in math and ELA). I have also tutored incoming teachers for the PRAXIS elementary education exam and Connecticut Foundations of Reading exam. I recently completed my Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to my current position, I was a University of Michigan student studying Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience in the honors program. While in college, I tutored middle school students in all subjects through a volunteer program called Peace Neighborhood. I also tutored high school students for the math section of the SAT one summer through Let's Get Ready! Therefore, I have tutoring experience with multiple subjects and age groups! This summer, I am available in the NY area for tutoring. This fall, I will be starting my JD degree, attending Georgetown University Law Center and will be available for tutoring in DC.
