Certified Tutor

I first started tutoring when I was about 19 years old. I was working in a day care that had an after school program, where I helped with homework and any topics the students were unclear about. Upon realization that my tutoring helped the students get higher grades or gain confidence in the execution of challenging work, I decided to start offering my services independent of the day care. I have been tutoring for almost 10 years and I especially enjoy working with elementary level children.

Background: Born in Trinidad & Tobago. I moved to the United States in 2007. I was granted a full college scholarship out of high school and obtained by Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and later my Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Health Administration. I am employed at an Institutional Review Board (IRB) for biomedical research. My hobbies are dancing and traveling. And I hope to open my very own rehabilitation center one day.
