Certified Tutor

I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Over the last five years I have tutored elementary and middle school students in literacy and math. Additionally, I have spent countless hours in classrooms as I observed seasoned teachers, and taught lessons in all content areas for students Kindergarten through sixth grade. I truly love helping students in both literacy and math, by presenting content in new and interesting ways, as well as helping students find their best strategies for learning and studying so they can feel confident and prepared for class and beyond. Additionally, I believe in teaching students practical ways to apply the skills they are learning, as this was essential to my success and motivation over my time in school. I believe investing in learning at an early age is essential to building a successful future. Outside of academia I love to watch and play sports, spend time with my family, friends, and dogs, and travel.
