I am a fun loving, outgoing, and sociable guy. I love kids and working with them. My calling is to teach kids to adults; inside and outside the school.
I am planning to go back to the University of South Florida to get my Master's in Mathematics. I decided to change my major about a few years ago when I discovered how great I was at teaching, after over a decade of working in the criminal justice field. I truly love teaching our future generations. I realize life is short and I need to do everything possible for the next generation.
I work teaching High School math, Literal Arts Math and Algebra, to ESE and standard students. In the last 3 years while teaching, I have been given the skills to teach people with every learning style and to have the patience for those who learn slower than others. When things don't go my way I have learned and obtained the skills and knowledge how to stay very calm and get things back on track.
Currently I am working as a High School Math ESE teacher and looking forward to tutoring one on one with children and adults. While children are my passion, any chance I get to tutor those in need to learn, help them learn, and teach just brightens my day. I myself have lived with A.D.H.D. all my life and helping those with learning disorders are so much easier for me. I can see many things from their point of view. The patience I have learned from my students through their hard work and frustration has paid off. They have encouraged me to be the best I can be.
I'm hoping that you will give me the chance and opportunity to make a big difference in your life.
