I have a deep passion for teaching and education more broadly. I attended Brown University for 5 years earning both a Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies and a Master of Arts in Teaching. I have tutored middle and high students in Providence in subjects such as Latin and Pre-Algebra. My favorite subjects to tutor are math and writing. My approach to tutoring is to meet students where they are: target their needs and locate their strengths and weaknesses, and provide adequate support. I think practice makes perfect and I'm a strong advocate of formulating good study habits. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy creative writing. I am pretty calm and affable, but demonstrative where I need to be.
