Certified Tutor

I am currently attending Southern Utah University. I am working on my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I will graduate in the Spring of 2019 and I hope to be attending graduate school that fall. Since I began my educational pursuit, I have had the opportunity to tutor students in math and reading in the Provo, Utah school district; help struggling students in the "America Reads" program in the Iron county school district; mentor and assist troubled youth students with online high school at Havenwood Academy; as well as tutor struggling students in chemistry at Southern Utah University. In my experience as a tutor, I have taught a broad range of subjects. However, I am more passionate about mathematics and science; specifically, chemistry. One professor, who worked with me diligently, demonstrated the power of learning and how it could help me achieve my educational goals. Since then, I have been inspired to do the same for other students. Aside from the busy school life, I enjoy staying active and playing sports such as basketball, tennis, and snowboarding. I also enjoy spending free time with my wife and son, whom greatly enrich my life.
