Certified Tutor

I earned degrees in Chemistry and Forensic Science from the Universities of Missouri and Illinois. Since graduating, I have worked in research laboratories, the military, at a college, and online as a tutor. Through tutoring, teaching college classes, coaching youth sports, and homeschooling my children, I have developed a love for teaching all ages. I do my best to present difficult ideas in simpler terms and then build them back together like blocks. My interests cross many fields, including sports, video games, music, cooking, fitness, military tactics, history, and reading. I use these interests as ways to connect to my students and approach concepts. I enjoy math and science, and true interest can be contagious!
