Amy: Fairfield tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Early Childhood Education. In addition, I have my Master's in Reading and Literacy. I have been teaching for 14 years in the public-school system. I have taught GA PreK, Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. I have been tutoring children for that long, as well, preparing my students for Standardized Testing each year.
All children are unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education. It is important to have a stimulating educational environment where students can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. I will assist my students to express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as, embrace the differences of others. I am a firm supporter of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to convey to all of my students.
Every classroom has their own unique community. I believe that a student should feel a part of in a classroom community where they are free to speak their mind, blossom, and grow. My role as the teacher will be to assist each child in developing their own potential and learning styles. I feel like I am morally obligated to enter the classroom with only the highest of expectations for my students. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job each day.
