It is with great excitement that I look ahead to being a Varsity Tutor, given the experiences that I have had with teaching high school and college business courses over the past nine years.

For a number of years, I have had a keen interest in events and occurrences throughout the world; I have always tried to keep up-to-date with current affairs, and recently have found stories concerning business becoming increasingly appealing. Business is a subject which is particularly relevant to the modern world which we live in, and within the subject, I find myself predominantly attracted to accounting and finance. I have been fortunate enough to be teaching a number of courses business courses beginning when I was an graduate students at The Ohio State University, and continuing during my time at Gahanna Lincoln High School.

Outside of school, I have been involved in coaching football and basketball. This has been invaluable in developing motivational techniques, communication and problem solving skills. I am also a owner of a small business- focusing on real estate acquisition and rental management. This connection has allowed me the opportunity to learn about business in a hands on way.

During my undergraduate at The Ohio State University, I double majored in Marketing and Transportation and Logistics. Later, I earned my master's degree in Workforce Education and Development. Recently, I obtained my master's degree in Educational Leadership.

I look forward to becoming involved in all aspects of Varsity Tutors
