Nathan: Baltimore tutor
Certified Tutor
When I began pursuing Aerospace Engineering, it was going to be my second degree. It would also take place after years of not doing anything math or science related in my first degree. This taught me how to quickly learn concepts, as I went into courses expected to have foundational knowledge that I had completely forgotten.
As I began to dedicate myself to this new path, I wanted to give back to those around me. I became a tutor for Chemistry and Physics, and also worked as a Supplemental Instruction Facilitator (think group tutoring) for Chemistry and Math.
In recent years, I have also tutored students at the high school level through private tutoring, covering everything from math and science reading and writing.
I enjoy every opportunity that I get to help other students learn these concepts and develop a passion for what they may have previously hated. I believe that understanding starts with passion, and so I always strive to make subjects fun and relevant for my students.
