Certified Tutor

I received my BS form University of Texas at Dallas on May 2017 with Biology as my major.

While in college, I was in UTeach program which is designed to aid students in becoming certified by the State of Texas to teach mathematics or science without adding any additional time to their proposed degree. This program requires us to develop and teach various science lessons at local schools. Within the program, I got to make my own lessons and teach science topics ranging from food webs/chain to thermochemistry to human body systems at different elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. I have initially joined the UTEACH program to improve my public speaking skills, but it has been far more fruitful than that. It has given me a different perspective to biology concepts that I have learned in college and I have to come to believe that you learn more when you teach.
