Certified Tutor

I am a current senior at Syracuse University, and I am set to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuroscience in May 2018. Being a university student has taught me that some of the most effective learning is done outside of the classroom. One on one or even tutoring in smaller groups gives the students more chances to ask questions they may not want to ask in the classroom. Tutoring is a great way to ensure that every individual need of the student is met. I was president of the National Honor Society in high school, and I tutored students of various ages in math, specifically Algebra 1, Pre-Algebra, and 6th grade math. Additionally, I have personally taken every course indicated both at high school and college level, so I am confident in my ability to assist students in those particular subjects.I thoroughly enjoy tutoring in all of the subjects listed, but my favorite ones are Algebra, Psychology, Biology, and Spanish. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy playing tennis, I am involved in several organizations at Syracuse University, such as the Dean's Team, where I serve as a peer mentor for incoming freshman, I am one of the Executive Directors for Relay for Life, and I am dedicated to my own studies as well.
