I am an economics major at the University of Delaware, and will be graduating in May, 2018! I've always been interested in economics since I took my first course in high school. I originally started college as a physics major, but soon realized my abilities were more suited for studying economics. Two of my absolute favorite courses in college have been Economics of Developing Countries and International Economics, because I really love seeing how the theory and empirical work relates to the real world. I tend to favor microeconomic topics, but some topics in macroeconomics really grab my attention, like how the government deals with health insurance and Social Security. As a tutor, my number one priority is to make the subject material more understandable, and hopefully a little fun too! Not only do I aim to answer student's questions, but I also hope to invoke more thinking with questions of my own. I intend to work with students until they feel comfortable with the material and I feel as though they truly have a better grasp of it.
