I am your recently graduated, dual-degreed, prospective tutor here on the Varsity Tutors platform :) My skills encompass a wide variety of subjects, but my specialization is in Mathematics and Economics. Specifically, I tutor the following subjects: Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Economics, High School Economics, College Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Business. I recently graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics as well as a B.S. in Retail Merchandising and Product Development. I have plans to pursue a master's degree in Applied Economics this coming summer at UIC. My drive for higher learning directly parallels my motivation for this role. I have a passion for teaching others, for empowering them with the knowledge and experience I have accumulated thus far.

When I am not tutoring my students, I enjoy surrounding myself with the incredible people that are my friends and family. I am entirely people-oriented, and it is from others that I gain my energy and my drive for life itself. I am a firm believer that learning can be obtained from anyone, anywhere, and through any outlet. In addition to challenges of intellect, I enjoy exercise as a form of an umbrella therapy, if you will. And by this, I mean it to be therapeutic for the mind, body and soul, as it conquers the realms of mental, physical, and emotional.

It is my honor to change the lives of my students by reinterpreting what it means to be a teacher, reforming its capacity in a new perspective. My methods are catered to each individual and his or her own needs, as every student is unique in this aspect. Beyond this dimension lies the infinite ability for higher learning in both parties. It is not only so that the student learns from the teacher, but that the teacher learns from his student. I am eager find the enlightenment that is reflected by my students, for they can better my wisdom just as intently as I do theirs.
