Amberlie: Cary tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a focus in chemistry. I received my Bachelors of Science in chemistry and Associates of Art in biology. Since graduation, I have moved from my hometown of Cincinnati to our D.C. and have loved every minute of it. While I am knowledgeable in a broad range of subjects, I am specialized in general and analytical chemistry, as well critical thinking, writing, and editing. My teaching philosophy is to be positive, supportive, and enthusiastic for my student. I emphasize teaching chemistry concepts and how to apply them when approaching a question, a method I wish I had used more when I was an undergraduate in chemistry! I have tutored both high school and collegiate chemistry for five years and I greatly enjoy getting to know a student and seeing them evolve. Additionally, I was an adjunct chemistry laboratory professor for Trinity Washington University in D.C
