I am a graduate of Concordia University. It is there I studied methods of instruction and curriculum development. I received a Masters in Education. I wanted to gain more skills and strategies to teach my son and other students to learn better. For far too long the joy and fun of learning has been taken away from students. I want through tutoring to re-engage students in the process of loving to learn. I am and have been teaching my son to love to learn and that learning is fun. He is now self-motivated to research and look up things on his own and I guide him in the process. I would love the opportunity to assist your child in reaching his or her fullest potential. I think we need to get to know each other. I need to assess your child's likes, dislikes and apprehensions about their particular area of struggle. All of us working in concert, can help him or her achieve his or her goals. We are fearfully and wonderfully made and there isn't anything your child cannot learn or grasp. Let's work together to encourage him/her. He or she can do it. Here mistakes are allowed, we just have to work it out like we would in a gym. My son's speech therapist said, "Practice makes permanent" and I believe that. I am a concerned stay at home mom who knows and understands the importance of supporting her child in his academic success. I look forward to meeting you soon.
All your child need is someone who loves what they to with enthusiasm, love, compassion, passion, kindness and patience be willing to guide them along the way. I am not perfect but I put my heart and soul into everything I do. I care. I love to have fun.
