Certified Tutor

I graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor's of Arts in Mathematics and Sociology. Throughout my life, I've had the opportunity to teach and learn math in so many different places: 9th/10th grade teacher in the Marshall Islands, tutor in a charter school in Boston, and currently an Algebra 1 TA at a high school in the Bronx. I've been doing a lot of math since a young age and I really enjoy both the beauty and the challenges that come with it. I've been a student who hated the math he was learning and I've also been a student who felt love and admiration for the math he was learning. This is all normal! There are many lessons to be learned from engaging in mathematics in a deep way. One of my drivers is creating a space that allows people to be curious about mathematics which I hope to encourage as a tutor.
