I am a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing. I was a full-time high school Chinese Teacher in Beijing after graduated from Capital Normal University with bachelor degree of Chinese Education. In North America (Canada and US), I spend more than 15 years teaching Mandarin in a variety of forms, i.e., local Chinese schools, private lessons, online tutoring, and company workshops. In order to advance my career as a professional Chinese teacher, I enrolled and earned the master degree of Teaching Chinese as A Foreign Language from Saginaw Valley State University in 2016. I have profound experiences to teach Chinese to students range from 4 to 60 years old with different backgrounds and various needs to learn Chinese. I strive to provide the fun, meaningful, efficient instruction for my students. I believe that my students have their potential to learn a language no matter the ages and how busy they are. My class is student-centered. In another word, I always manage my class to fit my students needs and their abilities. I believe that encouragement, A+1 challenge can motivate my students, and a good leaning strategy and the proper instruction will increase the efficiency of every students study. I am a warm, patient, open-minded and friendly teacher who perform my instruction professionally. After work, I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening, and walking, writing, home decoration, craft making, and drawing. I have strong passion of Mandarin education, and hope I can help to open the door of China for anyone who want to explore this historical and dynamic oriental county.
