Certified Tutor

I graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor of science in Biology and a minor in chemistry as well as a Masters in biology with a minor in secondary education. I spent two years while at Texas State teaching labs and gained much experience running a safe laboratory classroom as well as experience utilizing cooperative learning in the lab. I was also second author on a paper published in BMC research notes detailing the distribution of cytoskeletal elements in the retina and optic nerve. I hold an 8-12 life science and an 8-12 science certification. I have spent seven years teaching high school and at this level I have taught biology, anatomy and physiology, physics, and duel credit biology. I have also worked for the last two years as an adjunct faculty member where I taught Bio 1308/1309 as well as anatomy and physiology I and II.
