Hello, I am a student at the University of Texas At Dallas studying mechanical engineering. I have experience teaching at my local church to 9th grade students while sitting in some of my friends elementary classes. Along with this during high school I was a part of the National Music Honor Society which gave me the opportunity to teach kids in extended day about the violin. With these experiences, I hope I could translate to more applicable subjects for school such as math and sciences. During my senior year of high school, I was also a part of the engineering team for a competition called the, Real World Design Challenge, in which my team and I had to design a UAS (unmanned aircraft system). In this I was drilled in public speaking because there was a section in the competition where we try to pitch the idea to judges in which we received a nearly perfect score (99/100). So, my experience in the field of math is very extensive for the high school level of education along with AP skills. My favorite subjects in school are physics, math, and engineering. I would like to use this passion to teach others to advance their academic career. A quote from one of my favorite poems can sum up a personal philosophy Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Dylan Thomas.
