Certified Tutor

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor (GO BLUE!), a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Science from the College of Engineering. For part of my undergraduate experience I worked with the University of Michigan Solar Car team, compiling climatological race data for the Strategy Division and assisting with forecasting during a race. I spent several years at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) as part of the School of Meteorology, working towards a Masters degree in meteorology. During my graduate time I was a teaching/research assistant, worked on a development team for a forecasting webpage, and of course, spent many hours storm chasing.

I have a strong background in math, earth science, physics, computer programming, writing and many other academic offshoots, which enables me to provide comprehensive instruction to any student. As everyone learns differently and at various paces, I take a very personalized approach to tutoring, working with a student to understand their strengths and weakness, ensuring that they meet and exceed their learning goals. From basic fundamentals to complex concepts, students deserve a tutoring session that is not only informative, but also engaging so as to enrich their learning experience; my goal is complete satisfaction in that experience.

In my spare time, among my many interests, I love spending time outside with my significant other and our two dogs.
