Lydia: Chandler tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a graduate and current student of the University of West Florida. I completed my Bachelor's of Elementary and Exceptional Student Education in May of 2015, and am currently working on my Masters in Instructional Design and Technology, set to graduate this December (2017). Since beginning my journey in the education field, I have worked as an ESL tutor, a 3rd grade student teacher, and a substitute teacher in the Florida Panhandle. My education and work background have prepared me to tutor a wide range of areas, though I most enjoy working with young students in the elementary grades to improve their confidence and skills in their chosen subject. My personal experiences as an ESL tutor and as a second language learner (Spanish) have also fueled my desire to work with individuals of any age to improve their English language skills. Outside of tutoring, I have a long-time passion in art, studying and building up my skill as a digital illustrator, and love working with others in this field. I also enjoy reading, improving my (poor) Spanish language skills, and spending time outdoors.
